What is Trinity about?

GRACE ALONE. FAITH ALONE. GOD'S WORD ALONE. CHRIST ALONE. FOR THE GLORY OF GOD ALONE.

We believe that men, women, and children are rescued from the effects of sin purely by the undeserved mercy of God; and that through faith--a relationship of dependence upon Jesus that God Himself gives us--forgiveness and more become ours. Lastly, God's Word stands over us as ultimate. In it He gives us the rule and norm for all belief and through it makes us aware of sin, fills us with faith in Jesus, and guides us in faith-filled living.

Our Mission

We exist to be a church that has Jesus central in everything we do; to do as He commands by “making disciples of all nations”, to love our Triune God with all our being; and inviting others to join us in meeting, following, and sharing Jesus.

Meet Jesus

We are dedicated to meeting Jesus by reaching out to all (Matthew 28:19-20), uniting in worship (Acts 2:42), and extending forgiveness just as Christ has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32).

Follow Jesus

We follow Jesus by growing in God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17), remaining faithful in prayer (Philippians 4:6), and giving sacrificially (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).

Share Jesus

We share Jesus by loving our neighbors (1 John 4:19), witnessing through both Word and action (Hebrews 10:24-25), and multiplying disciples (Acts 1:8).

We Confess:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,

What Are Services Like?

Our traditional service is led by an organist and song leaders, often accompanied by our choir, timpani, and trumpet, fostering a reverent atmosphere for worship.

Contemporary service is led by a live band featuring keyboard, guitars, and drums.

Both services follow a traditional order of worship with scripture, confession, the Lord’s Prayer, and Communion (on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays). Services usually last about 60 to 65 minutes. The Sunday message is the same at both the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services!

The words of the Apostle's Creed along with the Nicene and Athanasian Creed, have served as a summary of Spirit-filled and scriptural belief since the earliest days of Christianity. They summarize what Christians have always confessed when gathered around God's Word in the name of God's Son--and they are the truths that we believe, teach, and confess at Trinity.

We are Lutheran. Specifically we are associated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To be Lutheran simply means that we accept the scriptural truths that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century and led to a renewed focus on the Gospel.

As a result we uphold an extravagant and mysterious view of God's love: that man is saved purely by God's grace through faith alone, apart from works. We believe that God is so loving and powerful that he is actively working through His Word as well as saving and sustaining sinful men, women and children through his mysterious gifts of baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Sunday Services:

Attire:

Relaxed, Casual, and Comfortable.
Come as you are. Many who attend dress casually, in jeans and their favorite shirt, while others choose to wear a suit, tie, or Sunday dress. What matters most is that you are comfortable and feel welcome.

Message:

Biblical, Relatable, and Practical.
Our sermons are roughly 20–25 minutes long, rooted in Biblical truth, and focused on Jesus. We strive to make spiritual truths simple and understandable, providing direct applications for your everyday life so that you leave feeling loved by God and equipped for the week ahead.

Music:

Traditional, Contemporary, and Liturgical.
Our 8:30 a.m. Traditional service features the organ and song leaders, often accompanied by our choir, timpani, and trumpet. Our 10:30 a.m. Contemporary service is led by a live band featuring keyboard, guitars, and drums. Both services follow a historic, Christian order of worship, including scripture readings, confession and absolution, the Lord’s Prayer, and Holy Communion (offered on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays).

Hospitality:

Coffee, Snacks, and Conversation.
Hospitality (coffee, snacks, and more) is offered all morning in our lobby. When you arrive we encourage you to enjoy all we have available and to connect with the people around you. We value making friends, so strike up a conversation or ask a question of someone nearby.

What do you have for my kids?

Childcare: Infants - Preschool

Staffed childcare is available at the 10:30am service. When you arrive, walk down to the east side of the building to room 205 where you’ll check-in your child.

Children’s Church: Preschool - 4th Grade

Children’s Church is a time of songs, story, games, and crafts designed to help your child make friends and grow in faith. Children’s Church is offered at our 10:30AM service during the message. Kids will be released at the message time and brought back into worship once the message is over.

Bridge 56:

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays, at the 10:30am service, 5th and 6th graders are released during the message for a teaching time specifically geared toward them. They are brought back into worship once the message is over.
