Thanksgiving Day Service
November 28t at 10:30am
On Thanksgiving Day, we’ll be gathering for worship to give thanks to God! This service will be filled with songs both on our organ and lead by our Praise Team. Pastor Steve will be giving a message on “Humbled to Thank God”. We will also have a moment to write on cards what we are thankful for and pray over those things. There is no childcare or children’s church.
Deck the Halls
November 30 starting at 9am
In preparation for the season of Advent and for Christmas, we go all out in decorating the church! Join us on Nov 30th at 9am to put up the trees, lights, and other decor! Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa will be available and donuts for you to enjoy!
Advent Services
Dec. 1, 8, 15, & 22 at 8:30am & 10:30am
On the Sundays of Advent, we’ll be preparing our hearts for the coming of King Jesus on Christmas morn! We will be holding our usual Sunday services at 8:30am and 10:30am. Our 8:30am is our Traditional Worship where you can expect hymns on the organ, occasionally the choir will sing and there is a more familiar liturgy of Lutheran worship. Our 10:30am is our Contemporary Worship that sings praise songs and is lead by our Music Team. There is childcare for 0-5 year old at both services and children’s church (a special teaching time during the sermon) for preschool to 4th grade at the 10:30am service.
Kids Christmas Program
December 8th during the 10:30am service
Our kids and youth are performing the play “Where’s the Star?” written by our very own Micah Johnson and directed by David Flint. This will be during our service in place of the Children’s Message.
Neighborhood Witness Walk & Caroling
December 11th at 5:30pm
This is open to anyone who would like to go out with our youth to carol and handout invitations to our Christmas Eve / Christmas Day services. For more information, reach out to Braedon Thompson
Kids Christmas Eve! (with candlelight and glowsticks!)
December 24th at 3pm
This is a brand new service that is geared towards elementary kids and younger and their families! This service will start at 3pm and you can expect lots a fun songs to sing and dance to, skits, and a special message where we’ll tell the Christmas story. At the end, we’ll light candles (or glowsticks for littles) and sing “Silent Night”. You can expect this service to last no longer than 45 minutes.
Christmas Eve Worship(Candlelight)
December 24th at 3pm, 5pm & 7pm
On December 24th we will be having three services. Our first is special service geared towards elementary kids and younger and their families! This service will start at 3pm and you can expect lots a fun songs, skits, a special message, and candlelight (or glow sticks for littles). At 5pm and 7pm we will have our usual worship service. The service is identical so please attend the service that best works for you and your family. You can expect lots of Christmas hymns and songs lead by our organ and Praise Band, as well as reading the Christmas story, and a message from Pastor Steve! There will be some special music pieces too with soloists and our Chancel Choir with timpani and trumpet. At the end of the service we’ll light candles, turn off the lights, and sing “Silent Night”. There is childcare (0-5 yrs old) and Children’s Church (where we bring kids preschool to 4th grade out during the sermon for a special teaching time) during the 5pm service.
Christmas Day
December 25th 10am Caroling | 10:30am Communion Service
On December 25th we will have our traditional time of caroling starting at 10am. This is a time of picking songs and singing before our service. At 10:30am we will start our Christmas Day service. You can expect Christmas hymns, unique Christmas liturgy and creed and we’ll be celebrating Holy Communion. There is no Children’s Church, but childcare is available should your family need it.
December 29th
We will only be having one worship service on Sunday, December 29th at 10:30am. There will be Children’s Church and Childcare available as well.
